Ubisoft's beautiful platformer is still tremendous.
In a week that's already given us a terrific 2D platformer in the form of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, it's interesting to get the opportunity to reappraise a game like Rayman Legends. Not least because it offers a rare chance to directly compare two entries within the same genre at close quarters.

This week was supposed to see the official release of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, but it has been delayed until next week, so no brains for you. With that being said there are still a few solid titles coming out this week for a variety of platforms. The Strider reboot is releasing for both next-gen consoles and the PS3, while Wii U owners can enjoy Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. The stand alone Assassins Creed: Freedom Cry expansion is releasing for PC and the PS3 and PS4.
